20-boxes-general-mills-cereals

Update: The eCoupon isn’t loading at the individual stores. But you can find it at this site. Also, hurry to print the printable coupons below, before they are gone.

I am so excited about this deal, I can hardly contain myself. I just got back from Ralph’s (This also works at Kroger and affiliated stores: QFC, Food Co, Smith’s, Fred Myers, Smiths, Bakers, City Market, Dillons Food Store, Food Co, King Scoopers, Pay Less Supermarket, Gerbes, Owen’s Market). I got 20 Large Boxes of Cereal (Family Size) plus 6 bottles of shaving cream for $1.08. This deal will last until Tuesday, Aug 13, 2013. Hurry, take the following steps, get coupons printed, and get your butt to the closest Kroger affiliated store.

Okay, here’s the breakdown and what you need to do to score this deal. Even if you don’t have all the coupons, if you just do step 1 and 2, you can get 20 boxes for $9.80, making them $0.49 a box! That’s a killer deal.

Step 1: Go here, click on your store’s logo, click on “Save Big with Digital Coupons”, it should be listed on the first page (photo of the coupon screen below)
On your computer, log into or signup to Kroger or Kroger affiliate store’s website (Ralph’sFry’s Food StoreFred MyersQFCSmith’sBaker’sCity MarketDillons Food Store,Foods CoKing SoopersPay Less SupermarketJay C Food StoresOwen’s MarketGerbes ), link your rewards card. If you don’t have one, you have the option to create one. Or you can do this on your phone, by downloading the store’s app (ie. Search for Kroger or Ralph’s, which ever store is in your city).

Step 2: Once logged in, go to Digital Coupons. Find the coupon for “Save $6.00 on Big G”.  Click “Load to Card”. You’re done.  When you check out and enter your membership number, the discount will automatically deduct when you’re ready to pay.

Step 3: Print out these Internet Printable Coupons. Hurry! There are total print limits on each coupon and then they are gone. You can print 2 times per computer. If you have multiple computers in the house, you can print more.

Note: Each of the coupons restrict certain types of General Mills Cereal. Since you don’t know which cereal your store has in stock, I would get all of them printed as many times as you can with the computers you have access to. You’ll have to match up the coupons with what cereal you buy in the store.

Step 4: (Optional) If you have inserts from last Sunday’s paper (Aug 4th), then in the SmartSource insert, on the cover, there’s a coupon for $1 Off 3 boxes of General Mills Cereal. Cut those out.

Step 5: (Optional) If you have inserts from this Sunday’s paper (Aug 11th), inside the RedPlum insert, you will find the $6.00 Off 3 Gillette Coupon. Cut those out. You will need two for this option.

Step 6: Go to the store. Look for Family Sized General Mills Cereals. Until Tuesday, Aug 13, they are part of the Mega Sale, where you save $5 when you buy 5 items. They are also onsale this week (until Tuesday) for $2.99 each. So, if you buy in multiples of 5, they are $1.99 each.

Here’s the breakdown,

20 Boxes of Cereal at $1.99 = $39.80
– eCoupon $6 Off 4 boxes x 5 = $30.00
Total Cost for Cereal Before Manufacturer’s Coupon = $9.80

The manufacturer’s coupons largely depend on which cereals you got, and the restriction of cereals on your coupon. The RedPlum coupon is for all General Mills cereal, where as the Internet Printable coupons are for selected types. Here’s which coupons I used for my transaction. Yours will differ. I could of printed off more Cheerio specific coupons for more savings.

(3) $0.50 off ONE BOX Original Cheerios cereal
(3) $1.00 off TWO BOXES any General Mills kid cereals
(3) $1.00 off any THREE Boxes of General Mills cereal (RP 8/4)

Making my total $2.30

I also bought 6 bottles of Gillette saving cream for $9.94 (They were $2.49 each. Five of which were $1.49 each, the 6th was $2.49. Part of Mega Sale event of buy 5 get $5 off). I used two $6 off 3 Gillette coupon, thus giving me an overage of $2.06. Thus lowering my total further to $0.24. Plus tax on the saving cream, making my total to $1.08.

I leave the store a happy woman. :)
Hope this is helpful and you find the same deal.
